Human Factors Guidelines (HFG) for Road Systems

The 2nd Edition of NCHRP Report 600, the Human Factors Guidelines (HFG) for Road Systems was completed in 2012.

On behalf of the Transportation Research Board and as part of NCHRP 17-80, Battelle staff are developing the 3rd Edition and are conducting a survey to: (1) obtain feedback on the use of the HFG, and (2) identify and prioritize needed revisions to the content, format, and organization of the 3rd Edition.

Your responses will be carefully considered and will provide us with information vital to our efforts to update and improve the HFG. No personally-identifiable information is included in the survey items and your responses are completely confidential.

Also, some of the survey questions below apply only to individuals who have read or used the HFG in some capacity - you can skip any items within the survey that are not relevant to your experience with or knowledge of the HFG. You may also leave the page open and finish answering the questions at a later time.

It may help you to have the HFG open and available to consult while you complete the survey.

It should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete.
