-          Participation on national efforts with NACo to craft policy and guidelines on GIS, Sustainability & Smart Growth, Rural Transportation Planning, Information Technology,  Programs & Services, IntelliDrive, etc.

-          Participation on Transportation Research Board National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) panels on a myriad of technical projects.

-          Participation on national committees (i.e. National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, AASHTO committees on Geometric Design, Winter Maintenance Policy,  Traffic Highway Safety, etc.
